Summary

Reporting to the VP of Product, the Sr. Product Manager – SaaS is responsible for the overall category leadership of Cedar’s SaaS platform for driver alert and information systems. Essential Functions

  1. Develops and maintains a strategic plan for Cedar’s SaaS platform

  3. Defines and implements a services subscription model and pricing strategy that balances adoption and profitability of combined HW and services/apps revenue streams

Job Description – Administrator Contract Programs

Summary

Reporting to the Supervisor, Contracts and Programs, this position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor, Contracts and Programs with administering daily functions required in the Sales Operations Department in order to support accurate entry, processing and analyzing Cedar’s pricing, MDF accrual programs, rep commission payments. Work in close liaison with all Sales Managers to ensure all needed accruals are in place, communicated and processed timely and accurately. Assist with other special projects and duties as required.

 

Essential Functions

A. Review and enter pricing and programs to ensure proper accrual of programs and correct invoicing of goods shipped
B. Review and process credits and check requests from outside vendors and Customer Financial Services
C. Prepare or review Profitability Analysis as requested by Sales
D. Review and adjust as necessary the monthly commissions to be paid.
Program Management
A. Ensure that all programs are entered into SAP in accordance with Company approved policy and procedures or an approved Profitability Analysis
B. Review and process credit requests through SAP ensuring accuracy of the program and service render dates and log as appropriate
C. Review and process check requests for outside vendors that hit programs such as Velocity, SPS Commerce, Commerce Hub and on air guest invoices
D. Assist in the review of the balances and ensure that a new Profitability Analysis is initiated with adjusted accruals as necessary for approval
E. Update trackers as necessary
F. Review and approve free goods orders as requested by customers. Obtain manager approvals and work with Sales Operations Specialists to release orders for shipment
G. Prepare recaps for customers with programs such as advertising, MDF and VIR on a periodic basis or for internal sales use in planning promotions
H. Process “throwbacks” and “adjustments” to programs as approved by manager
I. Work with third-party Web Support for direct & indirect Dealers, updating as needed. Company to keep system up to date; provide non-compliance reporting and escalation as required.
Commissions
A. Ensure that commissions are entered into SAP as authorized by management
B. Monthly, review commissions from YCOM2 and make adjustments as necessary to pay the appropriate amount
C. Prepare summary of commissions to be paid for approval by manager
D. Prepare commission statements to be mailed with checks when they are cut and other statements as required by sales rep (in Excel)
E. Respond to sales rep inquiries as needed
Pricing
A. Enter pricing from approved Profitability Analysis into SAP
B. Work with manager to assist in the resolution of issues where the customer expected price does not match the system price.
C. Run the Price Hold report daily and communicate to Cedar personnel the issues
D. Liaison with other on resolving the issues to ensure shipment of the product as soon as possible
Profitability Analysis
A. Review for completeness and accuracy the Profitability Analysis or prepare one from information provided by the Sales team
B. Monitor for compliance with Company practices and procedure as they relate to pricing and programs. Make suggestions for improvements to manager to assist in ensuring that each program is clearly defined and communicated to the customers and appropriate departments as necessary.
C. Assist in the resolution of any questions or issues to ensure proper approvals and execution by internal and external sales personnel
Other Duties
A. Work on special projects as requested by manager
B. Prepare all paper work for Credits, Profitability Analysis, agreements, adjustments, and commissions for scanning. File all hard copies.

Qualifications
A. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree is preferred.

Job Description – Credit Analyst

Summary
Responsible for maintaining an accurate and timely portfolio of accounts through monitoring payments, releasing orders, resolving discrepancies, and reconciling returns. This position reports to the Credit Manager.

Essential Functions
Maintain an assigned portfolio of accounts by continually monitoring accounts for signs of potential problems such as slow pay, changes in deduction patterns, etc.
B.Resolve deduction discrepancies in the areas of returns, vendor compliance, pricing, shortages, etc. by working with internal personnel, outside sales representatives and customer contacts. May interact with all levels of management in various companies.
C.Reconciles deductions daily via online report to allow completion of payment processes on a timely basis.
D.Review and release orders for the portfolio of accounts on a daily basis under the Company and department policies and procedures.
E.Collection of past due and open account balances through collection calls, review of customer portals, and correspondence. The processing of credit/debit memos, account adjustments, and settlements with department approval.
F.Update credit information on existing accounts and provide department management with necessary monthly and quarterly reports and account analysis.
G.May compile and document department reports as assigned including, but not limited to, monthly report on Daily Sales Outstanding (DSO), insurance reports, quarterly reports and credit group reports.
H.Perform special projects, as required, to assist department and the Company in achieving its goals and objectives.

Summary
A.Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop finished goods forecasts, while ensuring no top line forecast bias and minimizing SKU level forecast error
B.Efficiently and effectively communicate demand and supply plans throughout the supply chain (internal & external) in order to react promptly to changes or challenges
C.Minimize inventory days while improving customer service and mitigating fines
D.Minimize excess and obsolete inventories, determine appropriate safety stock policy and manage lead-time reductions
E.Understand complexities of multi-location distribution, ensure high quality of inventory, and facilitate customer collaboration projects
F.Develop metrics, analytics and insights to help identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in an efficient manner across the operation; maintain KPI dashboards
G.Collaborate with various cross functional teams (including Production and Repairs) to ensure service gaps are addressed and preventive actions are developed and implemented to exceed customer delivery expectations

Qualifications
A.Degree from a four-year college or university, MBA a plus
B.APICS Certification
C.7+ years of Supply Chain Planning experience working with multiple operating locations and a complex product offering (assemblies)
D.5+ years leading direct reports
E.High degree of attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
F.Strong systems skills creating & using data to formulate and communicate conclusions
G.Demonstrated ability to manage projects, work on and lead teams, develop processes, and improve metrics.
